Coralie’s working life started at the Grafton Regional Library as a Library Assistant followed by a Librarian at a local school. After working in hospitality in various towns in NSW she moved back to Grafton and gained a Government job in Administration performing a number of different capacities until retiring in 2013.
Coralie married and had two sons, with the younger of the two being diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenia this led to Coralie’s position on the Committee of an NGO which was to oversee the running of a share house accommodation for people with mental health needs. She then went on to join a support group for families of people with mental health, when this folded Coralie became Facilitator for ARAFMI (Association of Relative and Friends of the Mentally Ill) where she continued in this role for many years as well as being a crisis contact for families.
Coralie has a passion for supporting the mental health and social needs of the community.
