The Businesses Services Division of Caringa Enterprises Ltd began in the early 1960's and was born out of what was then known as the Caringa Special School.

It was recognised that on completing their education that Special School graduates required a work type environment in which to further their employment related skills

A paper salvage operation was developed and from there evolved with expansion into other areas of manufacturing. That is now known as Orara and Clarence Industries, the Business Services Division of Caringa Enterprises Incorporated.
