Transition to Work Program

This program replaces what was known as the "Atlas" program. It is funded to provide a bridge from school to work for young people with a disability who have moderate to high support needs. Clients are provided with training to acquire skills to assist them to be "work ready". A fully accredited training program designed by Essentra is used to assist clients to gain the following skills:

• Pre-employment

• Budgeting

• Literacy & numeracy

• Social

• Personal hygiene & presentation

• Time management

• Computer

• Team work

• Community integration

• Job Sampling

• Opportunity to transition to Open or Supported Employment
