Out of Home Care - OOCH

Out of Home Care - or OOCH for short - is a service for young people under the age of 18 who are funded by the Department of Community Services and are under the ministers care. Caringa Enterprises Inc. provides support for those young people between the ages of 12-18 with an intellectual disability and complex needs. Caringa has a 5 year accredition with the Office of Childrens' Guardian.

Caringa provides an individualised service to ensure that our young people grow and develop their identity and self esteem. We provide programmes for behaviour management, living skills, social and leisure skills and support each young person with their continued education. Most of all though, we listen to the young persons needs.
