Supported Employment

Caringa, an Equal Opportunity Employer, provides supported employment to forty eight people, with primarily intellectual disabilities, to enhance their work skills through a variety of business enterprises which compete in the open market.

Our business units include:

1. Our Manufacturing Division, which produces timber products such as surveyors pegs, tomato stakes, pallets and lattice to order. We supply many businesses and the public. We also have document shredding and envelope filling facilities.
2. TopCuts Lawn Service, which offers a mobile mowing service to the public and government departments.

The above enterprises offer a variety of skills development for our workers and we are always open to new business ideas which may offer different training options. Any business wishing to outsource their enterprise please contact us, as we would be more than happy to look at supplying the workforce to complete any additional tasks.
