Get to know him a little better:
💥What has drawn you to working within the disability service sector?
My family is (what I like to call) a production line of Disability Support Workers.
My father was a Special Education teacher, supporting people with a disability until they turned 18.
Then over to me, to provide support for the next stage of their adult lives, until old enough to require support in a retirement/nursing home.
Then over to my mother … a Registered Nurse in this (Aged Care) industry.
While my sister, an Occupational Therapist, provides constant support through-out the life of a person with a disability.
It’s the family business!
💥What are your favourite things about living in this part of the world?
I am in love with the Mighty Clarence River and all it has to offer … from fishing to boating to just sitting on its banks watching the jumping mullet. 🐟🚣♂️
I also love being a part of the awesome Clarence Valley community, bumping into and catching up with people all the time. I love that a quick trip to grab a loaf of bread and some milk can take up one to two hours due to these catch ups!😁
